The short version

• Free and independent. Duo Fitting Room is free, unofficial and independent. It isn't affiliated with Apple or any brand shown.
• Estimates, not guarantees. Fit readings, models, sizes and colors are estimates. Check the brand's own details before you buy.
• Made with AI help. The content is checked against sources but can contain errors.
• Stores and affiliate links. Some store links may be affiliate links. Anything you buy, you buy from the brand's store, under its terms.
• Fair use of the site. Use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes, and don't abuse it.
• Iowa law. Iowa law applies, but you keep any rights the law where you live gives you.

1. These terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Nick Neely, an individual based in Iowa, USA, who runs Duo Fitting Room ("the site"; "I" and "me" mean Nick Neely).

By using the site, you agree to these terms. The feedback form also asks you to agree to them before you send. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Two other documents also apply:

• the Privacy Policy, on how personal information is handled;
• the Affiliate Disclosure, on affiliate links.

2. What the site is

The site is a free, unofficial, independent 3D tool for trying iPhone Duo cases and MagSafe accessories, comparing their specs, and finding each product at its brand's own store.

• Nothing to sign up for or buy. There is no account, and you can't buy anything from me.
• It can change. I may change, add or remove features or products, or pause or end the site, at any time.

3. Estimates, not guarantees

• How the models are made. The phone is Apple's AR model. The cases and accessories are rebuilt from product photos and published specs. Many sizes, contours, magnet positions, materials and colors are estimates.
• What fit readings mean. A fit reading (sits flat, may tilt, or unlikely to sit flat) is an estimate for comparing setups. It doesn't confirm physical fit, compatibility, magnet hold, stand stability or protection.
• Prices. Prices are US prices from each brand's store, checked on the date shown. Prices, stock and products change, and the store has the final word.
• Before you buy. Check the brand's own information. Don't rely on this site alone.

4. AI-assisted content

Some of the 3D models, images and text on this site were made with the help of AI tools and checked against manufacturer photos and published specs. They can still contain mistakes, so check details with the brand before you buy. If you spot one, please report it with Send feedback.

5. Independence and trademarks

• No affiliation. The site isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Apple or any brand shown.
• Apple's marks and model. iPhone is a trademark of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries and regions. iPhone Duo and MagSafe are trademarks of Apple Inc. The phone's 3D model and wallpapers are Apple's.
• Other brands. Brand names, logos, product names, designs and patterns belong to their owners. They're used only to identify products, and their use doesn't mean any brand endorses the site.
• Rights concerns. If you own rights in something on the site and think it's used wrongly, email privacy@stacklet.app and I'll look into it promptly.

6. Using the site

What you may do. You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may share links to it, and save and share images you make with it, for personal, non-commercial purposes.

What's mine. Apart from the third-party material in section 5, the site's design, code, text, renders and models are owned by or licensed to Nick Neely. The permissions above cover only what's mine to give. These terms don't transfer ownership of anything.

What you may not do:

• copy, scrape or bulk-download the site, its 3D models or its data, or reuse them in another product or service, without my permission. This doesn't restrict anything the law allows, such as fair use;
• try to break, overload or get around the site's security or limits;
• send spam, automated, abusive or unlawful messages through the forms;
• use the site to break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
• suggest that I or any brand endorses something we don't.

I may block access by anyone who breaks these rules.

Age. The site is for a general audience. There are no accounts or age checks, but if you're under 13, please don't send feedback or your email address.

7. What you send me

• Not confidential. Feedback, requests and reports aren't confidential.
• Your permission to me. You give me a free, non-exclusive, worldwide, permanent permission to use, copy and adapt what you send to run and improve the site, for example to add a requested product or fix an error. I don't have to use it, and I don't pay for it.
• Nothing published without asking. I won't publish your message, or anything that identifies you, without asking you first.
• Your responsibility. Send only what's yours to share and lawful. Don't include other people's personal information, or sensitive information about anyone.
• Your privacy rights stay. This permission doesn't affect your privacy rights: you can still ask me to delete your personal information, as the Privacy Policy explains.
• Replies. I read every message, but I can't promise to reply or act on it.

8. Store links, affiliate links and other sites

• Purchases are with the store. Store links open each brand's own store, and source links open other sites. I don't sell anything. Purchases, prices, payment, shipping, warranties, returns and support are between you and the store, under its own terms and policies.
• Other sites. I'm not responsible for other sites' content, products or practices.
• Affiliate links. Some store links may be affiliate links. If you buy through one, I may earn a commission from the brand, at no extra cost to you. Commissions never change which products are shown, their order, the prices shown, or the fit estimates. Affiliate links are labeled "Paid link". The Affiliate Disclosure has the details.

9. Availability

The site is free and comes with no promise that it will be available or error-free. I may change, suspend or stop it at any time, without notice, and I have no obligation to keep it running.

10. Disclaimer

To the extent the law allows, the site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. This includes warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

I don't promise that the site, its estimates or its prices are accurate, complete or current, or that the site will be uninterrupted or free of errors. Some places don't allow these exclusions, so some of them may not apply to you.

11. Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows:

• Indirect losses. I'm not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill.
• Estimates and other sites. I'm not liable for losses caused by relying on the site's estimates or prices (for example, buying a case or accessory that doesn't fit as shown), or for anything a store or other website does.
• Cap. My total liability to you for all claims about the site is limited to US$50.

What these limits don't cover. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for:

• death or personal injury caused by negligence;
• fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
• gross negligence or willful misconduct;
• anything else the law doesn't allow to be limited.

Nothing in these terms affects consumer rights that can't be waived under the law where you live.

12. Governing law and disputes

• Iowa law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
• Contact me first. If a dispute comes up, please email me first. Most things can be sorted out quickly.
• Courts. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Iowa.
• Your local protections. If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the place where you live. If those laws give you the right to bring a claim in your local courts, these terms don't take that away.

13. Changes to these terms

When I change these terms, I'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, I'll also say so at the top of this page for at least 30 days.

Changes apply from the date they're posted. They don't apply to a dispute that arose before then. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.

14. General

• Severability. If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
• No waiver. If I don't enforce a term right away, I haven't given it up.
• Entire agreement. These terms, the Privacy Policy and the Affiliate Disclosure are the whole agreement between you and me about the site.
• Transfer. I may transfer these terms to someone who takes over the site. If I do, I'll say so on the site, and your rights won't be reduced.
• What continues. Sections 7, 10, 11 and 12 still apply after you stop using the site.
